Meerkatsu x Gaidama

Gaidama are a US-based womens only fightwear brand. They commissioned me to create artworks for two of their nogi range: the Warrior Kitsune and the Yao Bikune. Both are available on their website: www.gaidama.com

The Yao Bikuni collection tells a story of the peaceful and tempestuous dichotomy of the female spirit. It is inspired by a famous Japanese folk tale about a mermaid and a fisherman.

The Warrior Kitsune range was inspired by Japanese folk stories about the kitsune spirits who were shapeshifters.
